After a few weeks of getting things together, I've finally gotten accustomed to everything there is to know about Balamb Garden. Yeah, it took me awhile, but everything here is so spectacular. Well, pretty much everything. Let me tell you about the people that I've met thus far.

I met a lot of SeeDs and I think I should start with them. The first one I met was Squall Leonhart. He was apparently the commander of operations for this Garden, and I was informed by Headmaster Cid that he led the defeat of Sorceress Ultimecia from about a few months ago. This guy is... let's say... stoic. He doesn't really say much, and I've heard rumors that this guy is stuck up because of that. Especially since he's got such a high SeeD rank. But to be quite honest with you, I'd rather not interact with this guy. I don't do very well with quiet people anyway since it's a bit frustrating to understand them, much less trying to talk to them. From what I've witnessed, his daily vocabulary consisted of "Whatever...", "......", and "Sure...." (without any meaning whatsoever). But yeah, if he reads this, I don't really care. I'm not even sure if he's capable of doing anything verbal so yeah... I'll change the subject for now.

Another SeeD I met is Selphie Tilmitt. She was also part of the SeeD team that defeated Ultimecia. Very bouncy, jumpy, energetic girl. I like her. She's very easy to talk to, although her way of thinking is a bit off, I think I can deal with that. She was the one that was in charge of the Festivals around here and I've volunteered to be the emcee if she ever needed one, and she gave me the go-ahead. I'd like to hang around with her more often.

Then, I ran into Zell Dincht into the cafeteria once again, begging for a hot dog when I had breakfast. When I got my hotdog, there were barely any seats left. I found two of them and I offered him the seat next to me. I figured (and I was right) that he is a SeeD. He's another hyperactive kid, but I think that's just who he is. He's actually very cool, and very easy to talk to. I felt like I could tell him anything. He's also has this awesome tattoo on his face. He told me that it hurt like hell for the first three days then he was alright afterwards. Knowing that he got that done when he was 10 really surprised me. I had no idea they allowed 10-year olds to get tattoos in Balamb, which is where he told me he lives. That had to have taken courage to do, especially on his face. We exchanged martial art stories and tomorrow, we're gonna hang out in the gym to practice our art. Finally, someone I can relate to!

I have to talk about my teacher, Instructor Trepe. She is so pretty, you guys don't even know. And to top it all off, I had no idea that she was only two years older than me, and she's a teacher!!! Too bad she's a teacher, though. MY teacher for that matter. But she's actually very cool. People usually get the conception of teachers that they are old, mean, and give you a lot of homework. She gave a fair amount of homework, but overall, she has been the best teacher I've had in my life. She's also a Level 14 SeeD from what she told me. But she's very cool, and very nice.

Then, I met a few students. I really didn't talk to them much, but here's who I've met. First, there was the "lady's man" Irvine Kinneas. For a guy like himself, he's a huge flirt, and for some reason, it's working. I mean, he's getting all the ladies' attention like no tomorrow. This must have been an art that he has mastered. But then again, I really can't be the judge of that since I'm not really interested in flirting. He's cool, though. A bit egocentric, though. He came from Galbadia Garden. Supposedly, he was supposed to just assist with a mission from the Second Sorceress War, but then "one thing led to another" and he transfered here in Balamb. Then, I met Rinoa Heartilly. I thought she looked familiar. She's the daughter of General Callaway (I think that's who it is) of the Galbadia Army. She's really nice and all, but something about her... just doesn't seem right. Oh yeah, and she told me that her boyfriend is the commander of Balamb Garden (which happens to be Commander Squall). I wonder how she puts up with him. Oh... oh... and I met this one blonde... Seifer... yeah, there you go. I met him. I mentioned him on my other post. I actually feel bad for the guy because everyone shouts names at him. Students "AND" SeeDs alike. I've watched him and I tried to talk to him. I didn't want to piss him off so I just introduced myself to him while I was having dinner. I can tell that he's hurt somehow... now, I wonder how I can get him to talk... People have told me that he's got a bad attitude and he's got a huge ego. I still want to know him for myself.

Anyway, lunch is almost over so I have to get back to class. I'll update again as soon as I can, and when I have stuff to write about. See ya later.

I had just enrolled in Balamb Garden and I really think I'm going to like it here. I haven't met anyone just yet, but the students here are very nice and the SeeDs are very wise and wisdom giving, from what I've been able to experience. This is my first journal entry and I thought I'd give it a shot for the most part. I don't know anyone around here yet, but that doesn't mean I won't make friends now, won't it?

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Terogon Tigermage. I prefer it that you call me Terry, but it really doesn't matter to me since "Terogon" is a unique name. The name Terogon originated from the word "Terra" which means "The Earth" and Terogon means "from the earth". I don't know, but that's what my mother told me.

I really don't know much about my past and I'd rather not have to remember it right now. For the mean time, let me just introduce myself. Again, my name is Terogon Tigermage. I'm 16 years old and I'm a new student here in Balamb Garden. I was assigned to Classroom 1-5 and my teacher's name is Quistis Trepe. Instructor Trepe, that is. I start class promptly tomorrow at 8:30 am. I have a lot of fighting experience, especially with swords. My previous master, Master Muramune, thought me the art of fencing and the art of the swords. If you give me any sword, I'm most certain to know its purpose and how to use it. I've been training with Master Muramune for six years. My weapon of choice is a rare Sapphire Weapon, which is a transparent blue sword that can wield even the toughest opponents, mainly used for "metal" monsters. For example, the Belhelmels.

I came from the town of Dollet. I wanted to enroll in Balamb Garden because I witnessed the hardships that everyone went through during the Second Sorceress Wars. I've also heard that the people responsible for defeating the sorceress were SeeDs here in Balamb Garden. I want to be as good as those soldiers if not better in my own way. They have inspired me to become a soldier and to save this world whenever the need arises.

I also believe I have everything I need to train and become a SeeD. I have recently played around with magic and studying them carefully. My Guardian Force is Kjata, the boar. This GF has the attack called "Tetra Disaster" and attacks all enemies on the battle field with fire, lightning, ice, and earth elements. I believe that by being a student here, I can learn everything there is to know about GFs, fighting, and using magic, and everything else needed to become a great SeeD. Of course, there are regular classes... *sighs*

Okay, enough talk about me.

Being that it's my first time around here, I was immediately assigned, of course, a dorm room. Right now, I have a dorm room to myself but they told me that could change at any minute. But in the mean time, I have all this space to myself. On top of that, this dorm (that I'm in right now) has a laptop for the students to use. That's so cool! Because of that, they offered me to sign up for this LiveJournal. At first I was skeptical, but then the office administrators told me that pretty much all the students and SeeDs have LiveJournals around here and they told me not to worry so much. As soon as I've made friends, they're all going to exchange LiveJournal user names with me. Well, we'll see about that when the time comes. I checked out my dorm and it was so awesome! A kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a bathtub. It's just like a normal apartment. I was stoked. Afterwards, I decided to head out and see the sights of Balamb Garden. The training grounds were wicked cool, and Training Center was full of monsters that were really no harm, maybe except for those T-Rexaurs. They were so huge that I had to stay away from them if I knew what's best for me. The library had a great collection of books from the history of Sorceress battles, to almanacs, that library pretty much has everything in publication that Gaia ever had. Even the Timber Maniacs and Combat King magazines were in circulation. One thing I was surprised that they had in circulation were these dumb pet magazines called Pet Pals. It basically taught you how to teach tricks to your pets and quite frankly, I thought those were lame.

Afterwards, I checked out the Infirmary and that's where I met Doctor Kadowaki. She's actually a really nice lady. She was taking care of a few patients that suffered the recent outbreak of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, or also known as SARS. From what she told me, only these four students caught the virus and they'll be better in no time. Granted that I don't get it, I won't end up there anytime soon. Then, I checked out the quad. Huge place for people hanging out. There were two basketball and tennis courts, some benches, and also a soccer field. Most people hung out here during lunch. Also, this is where festivals are held. Students have told me that a SeeD that goes by the name of Selphie Tilmitt are in charge of these festivals and there's even a Festival Committee that help run the whole thing. I wonder when the next festival is... and I wonder how it's like. I know I'll have fun. I wanna meet this Selphie Tilmitt. I also hear that she's one of the people responsible for the victory of the Second Sorceress War.

Lastly, I stopped by the cafeteria and had a grab to eat. They serve the best chili dogs here and the lunch lady told me that I was lucky to grab the last one. I was a bit hungry, so I also ordered a bowl of spaghetti and an orange soda. As I was about to take my seat, some spiky blonde with a kick ass tattoo on his face immediately ran over to me and begged me to give him my chili dog since I got the last one. From the looks of it, this guy had a lot of energy. And he was really desperate to have this chili dog. I made a little compromise with him and gave him half of the chili dog. He sat down and ate with me for a minute until his hot dog was finished. He introduced himself as Zell Dincht, a SeeD. He seemed pretty cool. I hope I get to see him again.

After all of that, I was ordered by Headmaster Cid to go to his office and meet some people who are going to be a big impact to me at this school, supposedly. I finally met Headmaster Cid himself. Also, I met one of the deans, Edea Kramer. She also runs an orphanage at the southern tip of the Centra Continent. Must be a lot of hard work. I also met the one of the others deans, Quistis Trepe, who is also going to be my teacher. She was really pretty. I hear that Instructor Trepe has her own "fan club" called The Trepies, and any member of the Trepies were considered a "Trepe Groupie". I don't know much about her but seriously, she's really hot. I've also heard that she's only 19-20. Is that true? Lastly, I met the commander of the SeeDs and he goes by the name of Squall Leonhart. He was mostly the one responsible for the victories during the Second Sorceress Wars and I really do admire what he's done for Gaia. But in all honesty, this guy was... oh how should I say this... very stoic. He barely said a word to me. All he said was, "Hello. I'm Squall Leonhart. Nice to meet you." We didn't talk for too long. We just introduced ourselves to one another and that was it. Nothing more. If you were a new student and you were standing before this guy, you'd expect some words of wisdom from him but he kept his mouth shut. Here he is... standing before me... the guy who was responsible for defeating the so-called Sorceress Ultimecia... and says nothing. *sighs* Truthfully, I was very disappointed. Then, I bowed to everyone and left.

On my way back to the dorm, I met up with the "Disciplinary Committee". It consisted of three people: Fujin, Raijin, and Seifer Almasy. I've heard a lot about Seifer Almasy. I don't know what his story is, but even though he was part of the sorceress' plot in the Second Sorceress War, there must have been something behind it that he was a part of it, and now, he's a student here again at Balamb Garden. What I do know is that he's had a hard life. I can only imagine what kind of harassment he's been receiving here at Balamb Garden after what's happened. I'm not going to make judgements about him. I want to personally know him and see what's been going on. He may not be ready to tell me, but maybe he will in the future. I wanna know what happened exactly. It's bugging me a bit.

Anyway, it's already after midnight. I should wrap this up and get to bed. I have class, technically, later on. Good night, everyone.
